Antiques Road Show came to my town. It's a tricky one, because on the one hand I love being on TV and watching material goods being assigned arbitrary monetary values, but on the other hand I don't own anything interesting. Except for this big wooden thing called a riddling rack that holds wine bottles or something? I don't know, my girlfriend got it and now it's in a corner of our dining room looking like six 2x4s that got shot up with a huge-caliber tommy gun. But I don't think it's old enough to be considered an antique. Kind of like the
original iPad, which you'd think is ancient at this point but honestly it's still pretty darned good and shiny and new in the grand epochal scheme of things! And if you don't mind that it doesn't come with any (or many) holes and isn't made of wood, you can a refurbished one for a cool $400 today. -BB
